Incredible views at Rhosilli

Hey friends! I just have to share the unforgettable wedding of Nicola and Craig at the stunning Oldwalls Gower in South Wales. It was one of those high-end weddings where every detail was pure perfection. If you're on the hunt for a South Wales Wedding Photographer, you’re going to love hearing about this beautiful day!

The Morning Buzz: Getting Ready

The day started at Mulberry House, where Nicola and her bridal party were getting ready. The talented Wedding Hair by Claire Louise was on hair duty, while makeup magic was done by Jessie Dallimore. Working alongside the amazing Nick from Finch Media on video, I captured the anticipation and excitement.

Nicola looked stunning as her makeup was perfected, and I snapped some beautiful detail shots of her dress, bouquet, and accessories. The bridal party shared a bottle of Prosecco, and the atmosphere was filled with joy and laughter. Nicola then slipped into her gorgeous dress for an emotional reveal with her bridal party – it was a moment to remember.

Arrival at Oldwalls: Craig and the Ceremony

Next, I headed over to Oldwalls to photograph Craig and his best man greeting guests and eagerly awaiting Nicola's arrival. The ceremony was heartfelt and personal, with the couple reading their own vows to one another. It was a beautiful moment that left everyone in awe.

Confetti Fun and Family Photos

After the ceremony, there was a burst of color with a super fun confetti moment. We then moved on to group photos with family and the bridal party. These were some of the most joyous moments of the day, capturing the love and happiness of everyone present.

Romantic Stroll and Reception Details

We then took Nicola and Craig for a romantic walk around the grounds of Oldwalls to capture some intimate couple shots. The reception was held in the beautiful marquee at Oldwalls, decorated with soft pink florals by The Dancing Daffodil and elegant gold accents. One of the highlights was Craig’s surprise performance, singing to his bride, which brought tears and smiles all around.

Speeches and Coastal Adventure

Following a delicious wedding breakfast, speeches were given by the Maid of Honour, the groom, and the best man. We then took a quick trip to Rhosilli, with its breathtaking views over Llangennith Bay. The sky was a perfect blue, and Nicola’s veil billowed beautifully in the breeze, making for some epic, romantic photos.

Dance, Fireworks, and Sparklers

We made it back to Oldwalls just in time for Nicola and Craig’s first dance. Their choreographed routine was a hit, and soon all the guests joined in for a night of dancing. The day ended with a spectacular firework display and sparklers, a perfect finish to a perfect day.
