Welcome along to my first blog post of 2024! I was lucky to be the one to capture Kim and Jason's beautiful South Wales wedding, held at the incredible Fairyhill in Gower. As a South Wales Wedding Photographer, I'm thrilled to share all the details of a day filled with love, laughter, and timeless elegance.

Setting the Scene

Picture a crisp November morning as Jason and his entourage made a stylish entrance at Fairyhill, setting the tone for a day of sophistication. Simultaneously, over at Mulberry House, Kim and her bridal party, spanning four generations of remarkable women, prepared for the day ahead. It was an absolute pleasure once again to see the artistic mastery of makeup artist Farhana Ali and Wedding Hair by Claire Louise as they got the girls glammed and ready to slay the day! As always I stayed with Kim until she was in her gown to take some beautiful and timeless portraits of her, before the big reveal to her bridal party.

The Ceremony

The heart of the celebration unfolded in the K room at Fairyhill, which boasts panoramic glass windows that allow in all the beauty of the natural light. The atmosphere was a perfect mix of emotion and joy as Kim and Jason exchanged vows, with their beautiful little daughter wrapped in between them. We made sure to capture some gorgeous shots with all three of their children as the couple signed the official register.

Post-Ceremony Celebrations

Following the ceremony, guests filled the air with confetti to celebrate this gorgeous couple. We then set about capturing some gorgeous family and bridal party portraits using one of the trees in the grounds of Fairyhill as the backdrop, giving a stunning splash of colour to the images.

I wanted to make sure to capture cherished moments between Kim, Jason, and their three beautiful children, so we made extra time for these and I definitely think we got some frameworthy images.

A Walk with the Newlyweds

Next up was one of my favourite parts of a wedding day - the couple portraits. We took a stroll through the grounds of Fairyhill, taking in the gorgeous colours of late autumn. The bridge over the stream at the bottom of the grounds is such a cute spot for a romantic portrait, so we headed there first and then into the enchantingly timeless garden.
