South Wales Wedding Photographer's Story

Hey there, gorgeous people! Today, I've got a treat for you as we dive into the lush story of Samantha and Ceri's big day at Gellifawr Woodland Retreat. Grab a cuppa and settle in as I talk you through a day filled with love, laughter, and some seriously special moments, all seen through the eyes of a South Wales Wedding Photographer.

Morning Preparations

We kicked off the day with the excitement and anticipation of the bridal party getting ready. Picture this: Samantha, surrounded by her bridesmaid and her adorable daughter, in the custom-made bridal salon at Gellifawr, with hair expertly styled by Marie Barnet and makeup flawlessly done by Meg Wigmore.

But the magic truly began when Samantha's daughter stepped into her mother's wedding dress for a heartwarming portrait session. It was a touching moment that brought tears to our eyes, capturing the pure joy and innocence of a child's admiration for her mother's big day.

As Samantha slipped into her gown, anticipation filled the air, leading to an emotional reveal with her father and then her bridesmaids. The raw emotions were a testament to the love shared not only between Samantha and Ceri but also among their cherished family and friends.

The Ceremony

The ceremony itself was held in the Seren yn Codi room, surrounded by their nearest and dearest, with the beautiful melodies of Nerys Clark's cello setting the perfect tone for this special occasion. Mother Nature wasn't playing nice, but hey, we made it work! A quick dash indoors for drinks and we captured beautiful family photos in the ceremony room. A quick break in the rain meant we could get outside for some gorgeous bridal party shots.
