I had the pleasure being back at the stunning Gellifawr Woodland Retreat to photograph GaYun and Rob's extraordinary wedding day. Let me tell you, this was no ordinary celebration. It was a truly special day, filled to the brim with unique details that were just amazing.

When it comes to morning preparations, Gellifawr has pulled out all the stops to create a haven for both the bride and groom, just a hop, skip, and a jump away from each other. Picture this: stunning surroundings, a minute's walk apart, providing the perfect backdrop for those pre-ceremony moments. I was able to capture every heartfelt gesture, every nervous smile, as GaYun and Rob prepared to tie the knot.

The couple chose to hold their ceremony in the stunning Seren yn Codi room.

Following the ceremony it was time for one of my favourite parts of the day... confetti! GaYun and Rob chose gorgeous pink petals for their confetti, which photographed beautifully. Let me share a pro tip with you all: when it comes to confetti, go big or go home! Those larger pieces bring the wow factor to your photos, and trust me, these shots were absolutely stunning!

After the "I do's" it was time for the big group photo. We rounded up all the guests, clinked glasses for some welcome drinks, and then took some family photos, immortalising the love and togetherness shared by GaYun and Rob's closest loved ones.

We took a little journey through Gellifawr's beautiful grounds to capture some candid moments with the bridal party. And let me tell you, those spontaneous, genuine smiles were pure gold! Nothing beats the bond between a bride and her bridesmaids, and we made sure to capture that magic.

Fast forward to GaYun and Rob's couple portraits, and prepare to have your socks blown off! These two were absolutely radiant, and their love beamed through every frame. We ended up with some seriously romantic images that'll make your heart skip a beat.

Now, have you ever wondered how those swooping veil shots are achieved? Well, wonder no more! I've got a little behind-the-scenes treat for you. Here is GaYun's incredible bridesmaid Jess working her magic, going above and beyond to capture that perfect shot! Talk about dedication!

GaYun changed into a breathtaking traditional red Chinese dress for their Chinese Tea Ceremony. This traditional ceremony sees the bride and groom serve tea to their parents, in-laws, and other family members. Symbolising the union of two families, it was such a meaningful part of the day. It represents the newlyweds showing respect to the elders of their new family members and the family imparting marital advice and gifts and money to the couple in red envelopes.

The reception space was adorned with elegant sage green and white decor. Speeches followed, which is a fantastic opportunity to get some lovely candid photos of guests.

But the real showstopper? Rob's rally car! Decked out with their names and wedding date, that car was amazing. We couldn't resist capturing some shots of the happy couple and their entourage with this four-wheeled beauty. After all, it's only fitting to honor Rob's two loves—his bride and his rally car—on this momentous day!

Now, picture this: the sun dipping low in the sky, casting a golden glow through the lush trees of Gellifawr's wooded area. Add in some dreamy festoon lights between the branches, and you've got the perfect recipe for some seriously enchanting golden hour photos. It was like stepping into a fairytale, and the resulting images made my heart sing!

And last but certainly not least, the couple's first dance! It was pure magic, with loved ones joining in on the dance floor to celebrate. And I couldn't resist capturing some fun-filled moments of GaYun with her girls, bringing the night to an unforgettable close.
