Hey everyone! Get ready to hear about the sweet love story of Elin and Dorian, who tied the knot on New Year's Eve in the lovely town of Newcastle Emlyn. Their wedding at the Emlyn Hotel was a festive fairy tale, filled with plenty of unforgettable moments.

Getting Ready:

We started the day at Elin's mum's house, where things were buzzing with excitement. Elin got her hair done by Leah Hughes and makeup by Rebecca Thomas. I was there to capture the special moments, like the emotional reveal to Elin's bridesmaids and her dad.

The Ceremony:

The emotional journey continued with a touching ceremony that left not a dry eye in the room, especially when Dorian couldn't hold back tears while exchanging vows. The beautiful melodies of Madi Phillips on the violin added an extra layer of emotion to the special moment. The celebration then spilled outside for confetti and family group photos, setting the tone for the joyous festivities that lay ahead.

Bridal Portraits and Reception:

We had a blast taking fun photos with the bridal party, you'd never know they were freezing from the photos! It was then time for capturing some gorgeous, romantic portraits of Elin and Dorian.

The simplicity and elegance of the reception decor, adorned with white centrepieces, gold accents and fairy lights, created a warm and inviting atmosphere. I captured the genuine happiness of the guests in candid portraits, and before speeches filled the air with laughter, the couple cut the cake.

One of the highlights of shooting at the Emlyn Hotel during the festive season is the quaint high street adorned with Christmas lights. As darkness fell, we ventured outside for epic portraits of Elin and Dorian against the twinkling backdrop. Braving the rain and dodging the traffic, we seized a brief window of time to create stunning and dramatic shots that perfectly encapsulated the romance and magic of the season.

Sparkler Magic and First Dance:

The night ended with a sparkler line which, as always, can get some beautiful shots and simultaneously descend into chaos with the guests! Elin and Dorian's first dance followed. It was a beautiful moment, and soon everyone joined in for a big party to celebrate the newlyweds.
