Lorna & Craig’s Awesome Wedding at the Ceridwen Centre - Captured by a South Wales Wedding Photographer

South Wales Wedding Photography at the Ceridwen Centre by South Wales Wedding Photographer

Hey! If you're planning a wedding in South Wales and looking for a photographer, I wanted to share a story that might give you some ideas. I recently had the pleasure of photographing Lorna and Craig’s wedding in July at the beautiful Ceridwen Centre in Llandysul. Their day was so full of love, laughter, and a few fun surprises!

The Details: Bright Blooms and Beautiful Moments

I started the day by snapping some photos of the little details that made their wedding so special. The vibrant flowers, arranged by The Dahlia Wood, were absolutely stunning.

Then I headed over to capture Lorna getting ready. Her hair was done by the amazing Wedding Hair by Claire Louise, and her makeup was flawlessly applied by Charlotte Bellham.

One thing I haven't seen before on a wedding morning is the bride ironing her wedding dress! But when Lorna found that her dress was creased, she did not let this faze her and got stuck in with the rest of the girls ironing the bottom of the dress til it was smooth!

Lorna shared some sweet moments with her daughter, who was the flower girl, before having an emotional first look with her dad. It was such a touching moment!

The Ceremony: Love in the Walled Garden

The ceremony was held outside in the walled garden at the Ceridwen Centre, and it was simply magical. Their daughter was the ring bearer, and after they said their vows, Lorna and Craig were showered with bright confetti as they walked back down the aisle as husband and wife.

I captured some candid shots of their guests congratulating them while Brandon Kemeny played beautiful acoustic guitar music in the background.

Picture-Perfect Portraits: A Stroll Through the Grounds

After the ceremony, we took some couple portraits around the Ceridwen Centre. We got some great shots in front of their cool double-decker bus and in the picturesque fields and flower gardens. The place is just perfect for wedding photos!

The Reception: Wildflowers, Laughter, and Rounders!

The reception was held in a large teepee with long tables decorated with wildflowers, creating a really cozy and inviting atmosphere.

The speeches were a great mix of hilarious and heartwarming moments—everyone was laughing and tearing up!

One of the most unique parts of the day was a full-on game of rounders after the speeches! Guests of all ages, including Lorna and Craig, joined in, and it was such a fun way to get everyone involved. I captured some fantastic shots during the game—it was definitely a highlight!

The Evening: First Dance and a Saxophone Surprise

As the evening went on, Lorna and Craig had their first dance, and their daughter joined them on the dance floor. Then, Lorna surprised everyone with a performance on the saxophone. She had secretly been taking refresher lessons after playing the saxophone as a teenager, and it was a special surprise for her dad, who had always encouraged her. The crowd went wild, and the night ended with everyone dancing and celebrating.
