Wedding Photography Blog Post by Katy Tainton
Caitlin is one of my best friends from school. I had the option to be a guest and enjoy the day in a more relaxed way, but it felt much more special to me ( and Caitlin), for me to photograph her wedding day. I always go on about how important it is for the photographer and the couple to get on, because your photographer is not only going to be there for the whole of your wedding day, but you are trusting them with the task of giving you the photos you will be looking at for the rest of your life, that you are going to show your grandchildren in years to come. So it made sense for me to be the one to capture Caitlin and Dave's story on their wedding day.
They wed at St Teilo's Church in Bishopston and had their gorgeous reception at the King Arthur in Reynoldston. Caitlin chose to have one bridesmaid and her three little nieces as flower girls. Dave's brother was his best man, and gave a fantastic speech, the photos of which speak for themselves!
It was an honour to photograph Caitlin and Dave's wedding and to be such a big part of their special day.
