This stunning wedding took place at the beginning of June at the most beautiful of settings, the Cliff Hotel and Spa in Gwbert near Cardigan. It is right on the coast and has the most incredible backdrop of rocky cliffside with blue water that glistens in the sun.
We were blessed with a sunny day so the opportunity to take stunning portraits was ripe for the taking! Claire had told me when we met before the big day that she was super nervous about having her photos done and didn't usually like being in front of the camera. I tried my best on their pre wedding shoot (a windy day on Swansea bay) to put her at ease and as you can see, I think it worked because she didn't stop smiling all day.
After the ceremony we took some portraits on the cliffside overlooking Cardigan bay and then took a walk down a steep rocky path to a secluded cove below. See the photo of Claire taking off her shoes halfway down to the beach!
It's hard to pick any favourites from the portraits we took on the day but the ones at the cove are so dreamy!
Lots of natural shots of the guests enjoying the sunshine and finishing up with a few party shots of everyone dancing to the amazing band The Wilderness.
